How To Go Short On Bitcoin At Plus500

In this Video Tutorial I explain how to go short on Bitcoin CFD at Plus500 using the webtrader on a Real Money account. Make sure you change the youtube quality to 720 (HD).
I already opened a 30 BTC selling position and created the video afterwards.

Why is this a good moment to go short on bitcoin?

Bitcoin value currently trades for around $140 dollar so now would be a good time to go short. It happens very often that after reaching $140 it will drop $10 dollar in value within the next few days. If you open a $1400 dollar sell trade at Plus500 it can make you a profit of $10 x (10 x 10) = $1000 in just a few days. Plus500 has a leverage of 1:10 on Bitcoin. That means for every 1 Bicoin worth in funds you can trade 10 times more. $1400 gets you $1400 / 140 = 10 Bitcoins. Applying the leverage of 1:10 would mean you can trade 10 x 10 = 100 Bitcoins for $1400. 100 Bitcoins x $10 = $1000 profit.

At this current Bitcoin value of $140 it is more likely it will drop $10 than it would increase $10, so at this point it is wise to go short on Bitcoin.
