Litecoin QT upgrade

I didn’t have much to do yesterday night, so I decided to just create a “proper” repository for my Litecoin RPMs for Fedora/RHEL.

This time I built RPMs for both Fedora 20 and RHEL 6, for both i386 and x86_64.

Disclaimer

If you use any packages from my repository, you do so at your own discretion and risk. you will be solely responsible for any damage to your computer system or loss of data that results from the download of any such materials.

I have provided the SRPMS for all packages, so you are free to use your own judgement to see if my packages are safe to use or not.

While I currently only have packages for Litecoin in my repository right now, I DO plan on publishing other packages as well, none of which should ever replace existing packages provided by RedHat/Fedora, but knowing this, you may prefer to explicitly unmask packages you want from my repository by adding an includepkgs=packagename line to /etc/yum.repos.d/hamzahkhan.repo.

Installation

First follow the installation instructions for (you don’t actually have to install the Bitcoin packages if you don’t want to), then install the correct hamzahkhan-release RPM for your distribution:

If you want the Litecoin GUI package, run yum install litecoin.
For a headless system, you can install just the Litecoin daemon package: yum install litecoin-server.

You’ll have to create a litecoin.conf file in /etc/litecoin/, there is a template in /usr/share/doc/litecoin-server-*/litecoin.conf.example.
