Litecoin wallet import

A new prepaid Bitcoin card has been launched this week in Singapore that allows users to purchase small amounts of Bitcoin and to import the value into the wallet software easily.

The cards are from Singapore’s startup 8pip,the subsidiary of the CoinPip,in denominations of S$100 and S$50 (S$100 = US$80). Every card has a private key and a serial number which buyers take to the CardToCoin website and to redeem the Bitcoins loaded on the card.

CoinPip is also sponsoring BOOST:Bitcoin events in order to introduce newcomers to Bitcoin. Three events have already been organized in Asia so far: Singapore,Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong where 8piphas launched CardToCoin.

New environments

CoinPip with its partners are gaining a great reputation in their quest to pull Bitcoin payments outside the smartphone-desktop environment. The worldwide Bitcoin adoption lies mainly in the developing and emerging world markets.

People without ready access to banking online tend to lack stable Internet connections and a latest consumer technology, hence there must be a way to exchange Bitcoins with older mobile phones or not electronic at all.

For anyone

The CardToCoin service and 8pip’s cards aren’t aimed just at the arising world though. Buying physical Bitcoin value for further import into a wallet is a secure and convenient solution for those in the most switched-on cities of the world as well.

If you are new to Bitcoin and looking to acquire a small amount of the digital currency, these cards are a good way to evade lengthy verification process and other obstacles that occur with online exchanges.

The co-founder of 8pip and CoinPip,Anson Zeall, believes CardToCoin is going to make Bitcoin more accessible for a public use and to help disclose the idea of Bitcoin.

Where to buy?

CoinPip’s traditional Bitcoin application for businesses was launched on Google Play store in April. 8pip says it will release additional details about CardToCoin retailers and future products in upcoming months.
