How to install Litecoin wallet Ubuntu?

This will install litecoin-qt wallet

Again this was done on Ubuntu 13.10 64 bit

The easiest way to install is just gong to litecoin.org and downloading and extracting and then navigating to the litecoin-qt executable which will be in both the 32 and 64 bit folders (if you’re running 32, use the litecoin-qt in the 32 folder and if you’re running 64 bit, use the litecoin-qt in the 64 folder). After starting the wallet you can check that a hidden .litecoin folder has been made in your home directory. You’re wallet.dat will be in that hidden folder.
