Litecoin Qt 0.8.6.1
(Intermittent) Not Staying in Sync With the Network · Issue #109
While Litecoin is running and minimized to the system try, it stops syncing with the network. It won't synchronize until shutdown and restarted. In other words, if I minimize Litecoin to the system tray for 2 days, then shut it down, then start it, it will be 2 days behind the rest of the network.
Because Litecoin isn't updating it's block index while running, no new transactions are noted by the app until after restarting and synchronizing. Maximizing the app does the cause a sync to happen. It has to be restarted.
A few discussions on Reddit suggests others having the same problem.

QT version: 4.8.3
